Description

Pair of Italian maiolica chargers, early 20th Century, the first depicting Diana awakening Endymion, the other possibly the Fall of Phaeton, each within blue ground border of masks and mythical beasts (grotteschi), cursive monogram GM verso
Measuring 39.5cm diameter
Height 6 cms
Condition
First with potting flaws including glaze pops. A few flakes verso. Rim loss at 10 o'clock and tyoicla minor rim flaking. Second has glaze retraction fissures to base, plus rim losses as per first.
Delivery can easily be arranged for this item smaller items are generally sent free of charge to the uk, larger items can be sent via a courier, I keep this service as cheap as possible, the larger items are picked up and delivered to you within 7-10 days should you require a quicker delivery expect to pay at least double the normal cost.
