A wonderful period Walnut chest on stand from circa 1710 the chest has two short drawers and two long drawers the bottom drawer being a Secretaire pull out drawer, the base with 5 smaller drawers and standing on four walnut legs the front two with cabriole legs

Condition
This piece had a bit of a refit in the early C 19th to make it look a little mere fashionable, the bone escutcheons and the cock beading around the drawers was added and later the handles have been added, the piece also has been restored in the last 20 years I’d say and is in very good condition as a result,
Needless to say the piece could easily be put back to its pre restoration condition if desired
