A 19th century blond tortoiseshell, abalone and mother of pearl card case,of rectangular form with undulating front and rear, with tortoiseshell sides and ends.

Condition
A fine 5mm crack to the bottom left corner of the lid nearest the hinge. There are small nibbles directly above and below the hinge. The ivory lining the lid rim has been repaired.A small 1cm by 0-5cm triangular repair to the bottom corner of the side panel beneath the hinge.Hinge and clasp work as they should. The vast majority of the case is still intact.
