A late 18th/early 19th century French ormolu ink stand
with two wells, one in the form of a chicken coop with hinged thatched cover, the other a barrel with lifting lid and rearing cockerel finial. Both flanking a central figure in the form of a maiden nursing a chick. Supported on a naturalistic ground decorated with further chickens and flora. 19 cm high x 24 cm wide.
Delivery can easily be arranged for this item smaller items are generally sent free of charge to the uk, larger items can be sent via a courier, I keep this service as cheap as possible, the larger items are picked up and delivered to you within 7-10 days should you require a quicker delivery expect to pay at least double the normal cost.
