taxidermy of pike attributed to cooper & sons
A good taxidermy of a pike, caught by Joseph Leonard at little port 23rd Dec 1900 Wgt 9 lbs 14 oz.
The case retains its original glass and gilded lettering, the fish itself is in good condition. There is no label for cooper and sons but the mounting, the case the glass and the lettering are all identical to the named cases, and often it seems the pikes didn't seem to have labels.
The condition as mentioned is very good, the tape has been replaced because the glass was in a precariously close to falling out ! , now perfect.
